Partnership to End Addiction – SOS

Facebook and Partnership to End Addiction launched the Stop Opioid Silence (SOS) campaign. More than half of all Americans know someone affected by opioids, and only about a quarter of those with opioid addiction obtain the treatment they need. This national public awareness campaign aimed to inspire individuals with opioid use disorders, as well as their families, to send a SOS and share their stories. It’s time to break the silence around this epidemic and help end the stigma that often prevents people from speaking up and getting help. As part of the campaign we filmed 141 members of Congress to share this public service announcement with their constituents.
