I am a Marketer and Program Director with a diverse 18-year career spanning advertising agencies, tech companies, and a consulting firm. Proven ability to manage and deliver impactful marketing campaigns and programs. Below is an overview of my career, select press, overview of awards, and an archive of advertising and content I’ve produced.
If you’ve scrolled this far, here’s the nitty gritty on my story to date.
Cut my teeth at Hill Holliday and IPG Mediabrands as a Producer. I learned how to weave art and commerce, balance egos, and truly be a steward of the client’s money. I learned to avoid trends. And most importantly – any client can kill an idea at any phase for any reason at any time. That was a tough one but one I carry with me to this day.
Got laid off. It happens. Decided to try freelance and got lucky. My first gig was at Droga5 by hustle and a little bit of chance. The hype is real. I witness David and other top-knotch creatives truly bend business results with the strength of a good idea. I also learned that the idea only gets you so far and then passion, determination, and belief gets you over the finish line.
Next, I was off to Facebook’s Creative Shop. I freelanced here on and off for close to three years. The majority of my work here centered around campaigns for The Ad Council. The work was solid and I felt proud to make so many PSAs that hopefully increased awareness for great causes.
The next gig landed me at Think with Google. Think with Google is a marketing resource highlighting consumer insights and providing useful marketing tools. I managed internal creative teams as well as an external agency partner. My primary focus was to project management owned and paid marketing content for the product. Met a ton of smart folks and got a deeper education on marketing.
I’ve managed and produced… national TV commercials, messenger bots, brand guidelines, and creative content (animations, explainer videos, ads, out-of-home), global email campaigns, and social media content – for a multitude of clients and brands. The mediums and the awards were never the driving force for me. It was always the creative collaboration and challenges each project presented. Figuring it out together. Digging out of the trenches together. Celebrating the wins together.
